Removal of printhead
Step 1 – Ensure that the printer is ON-You can make sure the printer is on. If this is not the case, you can click the power button.

Removal of Power cord from improper printer
If you have a defective printer, the following steps may be taken to detach the power cord.
Step 1 – Remove the power cord from the electrical socket.
Step 2 – Unplug power cord from the printer power supply.
Step 3 – Detach the printer power supply.
Method to install new printhead in the printer
This method involves the below steps-
Step 1– Open the cover.
Step 2– Pull up the tab on carrier latch.
Step 3– Remove printhead from the shipping container.
Step 4– Place the new printhead within the carrier.
Step 5– Close latch till it gives a click sound
Step 6– Close print cover
